Huntingdonshire Business Against Crime -
Commercial
During 2005
the HBAC team have been working with an established group of
businesses in the Blackstone Road/Latham Road area of Huntingdon to
address crime and crime prevention in the area.
Nationally
retail business crime has been addressed with key initiatives, yet
the same attention has not always been given to commercial areas and
business parks.
The HBAC
initiative is in the early stages of development and is evolving to
meet the local needs. With relatively few established equivalent
schemes across the UK, HBAC commercial has already
made a positive impact by providing useful partnerships and
networks, which are making a difference
By working
with the businesses initiatives have emerged to enhance the
communication, liaison and partnership working between all the
agencies in the fight against crime.

CCTV • Compare CCTV on site • Provide
sources of information for up to date CCTV __technology • Short term - liaise with CCTV
